Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM), driving some of the most strategic initiatives and programs for GeminiApp.

Our team, GeminiApp, is on a mission to build a universal AI assistant that will empower billions of people. We are creating a personal, proactive, and powerful life assistant that will be used multiple times a day to increase productivity and creativity by 10 to 100-fold. Our work is shaping how humanity interacts with AI at scale.

The role

As a TPM leader in the GeminiApp team, you will drive our organization wide and cross-product area initiatives that change the trajectory of our business and product. These can include delivering differentiated critical user journeys, enabling state-of-the-art models for various use cases, or balancing competing priorities across senior stakeholders. You will collaborate closely with a wide range of cross-functional leaders (Product, UX, Legal, Marketing, etc.) to deliver on our business goals.

Key responsibilities

Translate ambiguous, open-ended business priorities into structured and executable programs.

Proactively identify and mitigate risks, implementing solutions to keep projects on velocity.

Mechanize critical parts of the business to generate predictable outputs.

Spearhead critical programs, driving progress from conception to delivery.

Forge close partnerships with PM and Engineering leads to define product strategy and ensure precise execution.

Navigate and resolve complex dependencies across diverse workstreams, functions, and organizations.

Deliver clear, consistent updates on progress, risks, and plans to senior leadership.

Excel at managing multiple, time-sensitive projects concurrently.

Guide cross-functional teams in identifying, prioritizing, and tracking tasks to meet key deadlines.

About you

In order to set you up for success as a Senior TPM at Google DeepMind, we look for the following skills and experience:

Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

10+ years of experience in technical program management or engineering management.

Track record of disambiguating and delivering repeatable business value.

Track record of fast paced, high volume, and cutting edge consumer software

Proven track record of collaborating with and influencing stakeholders across various functions and sites, especially in situations with little authority and considerable ambiguity

Exceptional communication, writing, and presentation skills

In addition, the following would be an advantage

Experience working delivering products that leverage large language models as part of primary experience.

Experience in hardware and software development life-cycles, metric definition and executive presentation, and technical program management.

Extensive experience in capacity and resource planning

Experience in implementing process improvement methodologies to drive efficiency and scale across multiple teams
