Are you a driven Sales Development Representative looking to build a strong pipeline and play a key role in new business growth?

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious SDR to join a successful, fast-paced sales environment.

Role Purpose

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and preparing prospect data for the New Business Sales Team. The role focuses on planning and delivering targeted prospecting campaigns to generate a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities and booked appointments that support overall business growth.

Benefits

Salary of £33,000 – £35,000, dependent on experience, plus commission

Hybrid working model – 3 days office-based and 2 days remote

37.5-hour working week, Monday to Friday

Day-to-Day of the Role

Work closely with sales colleagues to plan and execute targeted prospecting campaigns

Engage directly with prospective businesses via phone and email to validate data, explore requirements, and book new business appointments

Collaborate with sales stakeholders to build and refine campaign strategies

Use a CRM system to manage multiple campaigns and accurately record prospect activity

Utilise data-mining tools to build prospect lists and uncover insights that support campaign success

Achieve agreed KPIs focused on delivering set volumes of qualified prospect data

Validate core data points through outbound calls and email outreach

Answer inbound sales enquiry calls, qualifying leads and securing appointments

Review inbound web and email enquiries, validating suitability and booking appointments

Required Skills & Experience

Essential

Inbound / Outbound sales experience – Minimum 2 years

Strong IT skills with confidence using Microsoft Office applications

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Good commercial awareness and understanding of business environments

Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage workload independently

Self-motivated, confident, and professional with credibility when engaging prospects

Desirable

Understanding of the eCommerce market

Experience within eCommerce or related sectors

Relevant industry knowledge or specialist experience
