Recruitment Consultant – Accountancy & Finance

Location: Manchester Permanent | Full-time

This is a fantastic opportunity to build and develop a specialist desk within a high-demand professional market, supported by an established brand, market-leading tools, and a strong local and national client base.

What you’ll be doing

As a Recruitment Consultant on our Accountancy & Finance desk, you will take full ownership of the recruitment process, including:

Managing a 360-recruitment role, developing new and existing client relationships across the Manchester region

Recruiting for roles such as Part-Qualified, Qualified, Finance Managers, Financial Controllers, and transactional finance positions

Proactively developing new business through networking, market mapping, and client visits

Sourcing candidates using Reed’s market-leading database, job boards, LinkedIn, and headhunting

Interviewing, assessing, and matching candidates to client opportunities

Managing offer processes, negotiations, and onboarding

Delivering an excellent service to both clients and candidates, building long-term partnerships

What we’re looking for

Previous experience in recruitment, sales or business development

An interest in or knowledge of accountancy and finance recruitment

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

A proactive, resilient, and target-driven mindset

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
