Management Accountant Up to £50k | Hybrid | Birmingham City Centre

The Role: Commercial, Hands-On and High Impact Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll take full responsibility for financial reporting, control and insight across a portfolio of operational sites.

This role goes beyond reporting - you'll operate as a Finance Business Partner, challenging performance, strengthening controls and adding commercial value.

Produce timely, accurate management accounts, budgets and forecasts for multiple sites

Analyse financial performance, identifying variances, trends and key drivers

Own balance sheet accuracy, including reconciliations, fixed assets and GRNI

Act as the main finance partner to site teams, leading financial reviews

Prepare statutory accounts and support VAT, tax and audit requirements

Contribute to finance improvements and ad-hoc projects across the wider business

About You You'll be commercially minded, detail-focused and comfortable operating in a fast-moving, multi-site environment.

You'll bring

A degree in Finance, Accounting or Business, with ACCA / CIMA / ACA part-qualified or qualified (salary dependent on qualification level)

Strong management accounting experience

Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems

Excellent analytical and problem-solving capability

The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Clear, confident communication with finance and non-finance stakeholders
