Senior Accountant – £50,000 to £55,000 – Leeds / Hybrid

If you’re a technically strong accountant who enjoys getting into the detail, owning reporting, and being the go-to person for financial accuracy, this is a role where you can really make your mark.

This position sits at the heart of the finance function, taking ownership of core reporting, strengthening controls, and ensuring the business has reliable, high-quality financial information to drive decisions. It’s a role thatgoes beyond “producing numbers” you’ll shape them, challenge them, and add real commercial context.

What You’ll Be Doing

Taking ownership of technical reporting and delivering accurate, high-quality financial outputs

Strengthening financial controls and ensuring robust, compliant processes

Acting as a trusted finance partner to senior stakeholders

Producing insightful MI, budgeting, and forecasting with clear commercial commentary

Playing a key role in audit and continuous improvement initiatives

Supporting and developing junior team members

What We’re Looking For

ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or equivalent)

Strong technical accounting background with hands-on reporting experience

Confidence working with complex data and financial information

A detail-driven mindset with the ability to see the bigger commercial picture

Strong communication skills and the confidence to challenge where needed

Ambition to grow and develop within a fast-paced business
